Your chance to give us a test drive

We want to invite you and your children to try us out by attending two regular meetings for FREE.

We can offer your youngster an opportunity to participate in the youth program appropriate to their age group. Our Scout Groups run active youth programs for:

• Beavers boys and girls (5 - 7 years old)
• Cubs boys and girls (8 - 11 years old)
• Scouts boys and girls (11 - 14 years old)
• Venturers teens (14 - 17 years old)
• Rovers men and women (18 - 26 years old)

EARLY Registration Fees

Early Registration fees for 2009 - 10 are:

• Youth - $165
  
• Adult - $0 (fee paid for by Council)
  
• Family (3 or more youth) - $390
  

Parents need to call their Group Commissioner to find out how to submit an early registration. All early registrations must be entered into MMS prior to the end of August.

Submitting an Application

It's really simple:

• For  youth complete a Youth Application Form and submit it with a cheque made out to your Scout Group for the registration fee to your Group Commissioner through your Section Leader.
  
  
• For  adult leaders complete the first two pages of the Adult Application for Membership and submit it to your Group Commissioner through your Section Leader. There are no registration fees for leaders.
  
  
• For  parent volunteers complete the first two pages of the Adult Application for Membership and submit it to your Group Commissioner through your Section Leader. There are no registration fees for parent volunteers.
  
  When filling out the application form, please indicate which youth Section (Beavers, Cubs, or Scouts) you are volunteering for and select "Other" and indicate "Parent Volunteer". Parent volunteers will become registered adult volunteers with Scouts Canada and will be insured for Scouting activities. All Parent Volunteers must be screened and approved in the same manner as Scout Leaders (includes a reference check of three personal references and a police records check).
