Cubs Gone Fishing
On Sunday afternoon, June 3rd, 2007, about a dozen cubs plus their parents and siblings gathered to go fishing at the Morinville trout pond (just west of Morinville). The pond had been recently stocked and they were hoping to see some serious action.
For many of our youngsters, it was their first time fishing, so Mom's and Dad's were busy baiting hooks, teaching "how to cast" and untangling crossed lines.
"Cubs Gone Fishing" was organized as part of the "Keeping in Touch" summer program run by the Monday Cub Pack of 2nd St. Albert Scout Group. "Keeping in Touch" activities gave the cubs a chance to try their hands at some cub badge work, receive earned badges and awards, and keep in touch with their cub friends.
So you're a Section photographer, a leader or parent who is good with a camera and would like to provide pictures for our photo gallery! If you are, please contact us so we can provide you with the instructions on how to make it happen.
